Famous London resort adored by celebs and royals on fireplace with 125 firefighters at scene
A huge fire has engulfed a posh hotel popular amongst celebs and royals.
Pictures shared on social media show ferocious flames ripping through the roof of the Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone, central London. Plumes of grey smoke are rising into the sky through the windows.
Some 125 firefighters from the London Fire Brigade rushed to the five-star hotel to tackle the blaze, with the service saying the building’s extraction system was on fire.
Latest is 100 people have been evacuated. The cause of the fire was not immediately known, according to the brigade.
Flames are currently raging as firefighters are trying to tackle it.
