Jake Paul claims Mike Tyson was recognized with Parkinson’s earlier than their Netflix bout

Jake Paul has sensationally claimed Mike Tyson was diagnosed with Parkinson’s before their Netflix bout.
YouTuber Paul, 28, beat Tyson, 58, in a boxing match that was streamed on Netflix in Dallas, Texas, back in November. The bout had been pushed back from the summer due to health scares for Tyson.
Tyson has since claimed he “nearly died” in the build-up to the fight and needed “eight blood transfusions” while an ulcer flare-up had caused the initial bout to be rescheduled.
And Paul has now made further claims over his rivals health in a livestream – claiming that Tyson was previously suffering from Parkinson’s. However, that hasn’t been verified by Tyson or his team.
Speaking to Adin Ross on his Kick show about psychedelic drugs, Paul said: “Ayahuasca is really good for your brain as well. And same with toad!
“Toad cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s so that he could come back and fight,” and when pushed about how the psychedelic worked, Paul added: “You smoke it.”
Despite Paul’s claims, Parkinson’s is currently incurable. However, there are treatments that can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
Speaking about his health after the bout, Tyson took to his X account to post: “I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won.
“To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you.”
Mike Tyson’s representatives have been contacted for comment on Jake Paul’s claims.
