Schoolboy, 13, dies days after being concerned in automotive crash along with his 5 associates
A 13-year-old boy has died days after being involved in a horror car crash.
Harrison Reynolds was critically injured after the car he was in with five friends spun off the A672 Oldham Road, in West Yorkshire, just under two weeks ago.
Just before 1am, on February 4, the black Vauxhull Corsa crashed when it careered off the road in Rishworth.
The other teenagers in the car, two girls and three boys, were arrested but have been released on police bail.
Police confirmed today (Monday) that the boy died from his injuries in hospital.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the crash
The boy’s mum, Sara Louise posted a picture of the young Leeds United fan with the caption: ‘My whole heart and soul. My boy. My H. My forever 13.’
Harrison’s sister Olivia, wrote: ‘Our boy put up a hell of a good fight and carried on fighting a whole 10 hours.

‘Heartbroken is an understatement and I’m gunna be so lost without my little menace of a brother.
‘Keep causing chaos up there little man, I love you today, tomorrow and forever.’
Detective Inspector Paul Conroy from the West Yorkshire Police Major Collision Enquiry Team said: ‘This is a tragic incident which has resulted in a 13-year-old boy losing his life.
‘Our thoughts go out to his family and specialist officers are working to support them at this time.
‘We are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident and would ask anyone with any information who hasn’t already been in contact with us to please get in touch.
‘We particularly want to hear from anyone who may have seen the car involved in the time leading up to the collision or may have dashcam or other video footage that will help with our enquiries.’
Police have confirmed the teenager’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
His uncle and dad shared pictures of him on social media captioned with hearts.
One friend wrote their condolences to the family, they said: ‘We are all going to miss you H Fly high buddy.’
Another added: ‘RIEP H Fly high with the angels FOREVER 13.’
Friends have started a GoFundMe appeal in the wake of Harrison’s death to raise money towards funeral costs.
