Wrexham ace shares horror pics of automotive crash that might’ve killed him ‘in blink of a watch’

Wrexham star Elliot Lee has shared pictures of a terrifying car crash he was involved in that saw him taken to hospital.

The midfielder was involved in a two-car collision that saw the drivers of both cars taken to hospital. Lee, 30, suffered no major injuries as a result of the crash after Wrexham’s 1-0 win over Bolton.

Taking to Instagram, Lee posted a number of pictures of his wrecked Range Rover, alongside the caption: “Last Tuesday night I found out just how fragile life is and in the blink of an eye, through no fault of your own, it has the potential to change drastically. Thankfully I had someone looking over me, but I’m well aware of how different the outcome could’ve been.

“It has been overwhelming to see how much people care and the love and support I have around me with my family and friends. It has been a tough week, but I’m feeling very lucky and very grateful.

“Thank you to the emergency services for all their help and for all the kind messages I have received, it means a lot. And lastly a huge thank you to @kevmulholland @adermmm and my partner for rushing to my aid and spending all night in the hospital with me.

“Hoping to be back on the pitch asap (love heart emoji).”

Fellow and former pros paid their support to Lee in the comments section, including former England striker Alan Shearer, and ex-forward Danny Graham.
