A furious Luke Littler stormed off stage during his defeat at the Premier League against Gerwyn Price in Dublin tonight.

The reigning world darts champion, 18, suffered a disappointing loss to the Welshmam 6-4.

Littler was visibly frustrated throughout the match, and after Price hit the winning double, the teenage ace saw red. As he walked off the stage in Dublin, the Sky Sports television cameras appeared to show Littler throwing his darts case down the stage.

Price, 39, has now won four times in a row against The Nuke.

Littler was allegedly annoyed that Price was slowing down the rhtym of the game, and he was also not impressed by Price’s pre-match comments. They played to a 9,000-strong crowd who were in high spirits throughout the game.

This comes after Littler’s victory on night two of the Premier League in Glasgow last week, an evening that saw him come from 5-1 down in his quarter-final against Rob Cross. But tonight he finished the night of play with no points.

This is a rare outburst from the world champion, who is known for his cool, calm and collected persona on stage. Of course, after the success he’s experienced in his short professional career, Littler is more than justified in showing his emotions occasionally.

But Littler might be feeling a bit worried, given he’s now lost his previous five encounters against Price across all competitions. The Iceman has faced Littler three times already in 2025, beating him at both the Bahrain Masters and a Players Championship event, as well as Thursday’s meeting in Dublin, reports the Express.

After Price’s win, he will not face Luke Humphries in the semi-final clash. He said: “I want to be a tough nut to crack for every player. That’s what I used to be. Maybe two or three years ago I was but since then, I’ve slipped off the radar.

“I’m coming back. I probably wouldn’t have won that game without the crowd. They were fantastic for me. It was like Cardiff all over. I think they feel sorry for us Welsh rugby players.

“My game is in a great place. My mind is in a good place.”
