A Tesco staff has blown the minds of shoppers by revealing something that many didn’t realise you could get in meal deal. For many Brits, the Meal Deal is not just a sales tactic, but it’s a way of life.

You buy a sandwich, snack and drink, pay a cool £3.60 and leave feeling like you’ve won the lunch lottery. However, there is one item that many might not have realised you could get as part of a meal deal, and TikTokker Nathan Lorenzo – whose Tesco content has bagged him 218k followers – has taken to the platform to share some wild news.

Titling the video “Tesco really be doing bits with the meal deals I can’t lie”, he divulged how the meal deal he grabbed can’t bakery items – something many appear to not know was included.

He said: “Clearly, I have been living under a rock for my Tesco career… you can get bakery items in the meal deal. Croissants, cheese twists, chocolate twists – the lot – so I treated myself with my meal deal and thought I’d share what I got.”

In a riveting piece of historical social media footage that our grandchildren will no doubt look back on with pride, Nathan detailed what he picked for his meal deal.

He told how he chose a box of chicken and chorizo pasta which he “thoroughly enjoyed”, grabbed a bottle of “big slay” Lipton’s peach flavoured iced tea, and then topped it off with a truly mind-blowing selection of a freshly-baked cheese twist.

He even went as far as rating the selection a “solid” 9/10 and said that “if you don’t agree with me then that’s your issue”.

Fans (he has fans, apparently) took to the comments to express their utter shock at the news, with one raging: “It’s bad that they don’t advertise all the items you can get.”

And a second commented: “OMG I work in Tesco and didn’t know this, thanks for sharing this amazing deal.”

And a third said: “My boyfriend works in an express. How has he never told me this?” You can’t trust a man gatekeeping such secrets, time for a new boyfriend.
