Mystery as bodybuilder discovered lifeless after being gunned down in rest room of bar

Grishall Disner, 23, was shot twice in the bathroom of Kows Bar in Mexico City on Wednesday night after witnesses reported hearing gunshots and the venue was evacuated

A Mexican bodybuilder was found dead with two gunshot wounds in the toilet of a bar on Wednesday night.

Grishall Disner, 23, had reportedly been enjoying some drinks at Kows Bar in Mexico City when he suddenly upped and left to use the bathroom. Paramedics declared Disner dead at the location.

Although police initially suggested that Disner might have “shot himself,” authorities are actively investigating the incident. It has been reported that Disner had been “drinking heavily” prior to the tragic event, the Mirror reports. Officials are currently examining CCTV footage from the bar and its vicinity to gather information. Following the news, fans took to Disner’s Instagram page to leave tributes for him.

The caption of one post tagged to Disner read: “My brother, my everything, I bid you farewell as you liked; there are no words to explain what I feel at this moment…

“but I will always remember you as what was a verg@ no one could against you to such a degree that your solito was and eggs until the end, follow the legacy Disner, rest in peace soon I’ll see you again this is not a goodbye it’s a see you later.”

Disner had earned recognition as an influential bodybuilder and social media influencer back in his hometown.

He was also known for mentoring others at his gym, guiding them towards their peak physical condition.

In 2023, he bagged several accolades, including the titles of Mr. America Jr. and Mr. Mexico Jr., both in the +90kg category.

He also clinched gold that same year at the Absoluto Mr. CDMX Jr. show.

The untimely demise of the 23-year-old adds to a series of unfortunate events that have recently plagued the bodybuilding community.

Just last year, fellow bodybuilder Matheus Pavlak was discovered lifeless at his residence in Brazil.
