Fabregas has successfully brought many European stars to the newly-promoted club, such as former Liverpool players Pepe Reina and Alberto Moreno or Barcelona academy product Sergi Roberto.
Now, according to Il Messaggero, several top European clubs are keeping tabs on the former Spain star’s future at Como, including Man City, Barcelona, Inter and AC Milan.
Reports emerged that City Group are plotting a reserve plan in case of a potential Pep Guardiola‘s exit from the Premier League title holders, following the side’s struggle this season.

The 54-year-old manager recently signed a new deal until 2027 but endures one of the most challenging campaigns of his coaching career
Earlier, the 54-year-old manager confirmed that the Citizens would be the final club of his illustrious managerial career after he signed a new deal until 2027.
Guardiola admitted he finds it tough to deal with when his side struggles for positive results amid one of the most challenging campaigns of his coaching time.
The Citizens are currently keeping hopes only for one trophy this season – the FA Cup – as they are out of the Champions League and Carabao Cup and 20 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have also emerged as another side interested in Fabregas’ managerial abilities but are currently planning to keep Hansi Flick as their head coach.
Previous reports stated that the German specialist could see a contract extension in case of a successful season both on domestic and international levels.
The Catalans sit in first place in the LaLiga table following their home 4-0 win over Real Sociedad on Sunday, which boosted them one point clear from second-placed Atletico Madrid.
Serie A giants AC Milan and Inter are also closely monitoring Fabregas’s contractual situation following Como’s recent wins over Napoli and Fiorentina.
The Italian league newcomers are currently 13th in the standings, six points above the relegation zone, despite expectations that they would drop again to the second division at the end of the season.
