Ebanie Bridges gave Kell Brook teaser two years earlier than their child boy was born
Former boxing world champions Ebanie Bridges and Kell Brook welcomed a child last month after the Blonde Bomber had previously teased their relationship over two years ago
Ebanie Bridges had previously teased her relationship with Kell Brook over two years before the birth of their baby boy.
The Blonde Bomber announced the birth of son Ezerra on her Instagram page, adding a picture and the caption: “20.02.2025 our prince arrived. Ezerra Ray Brook. We are so in love. @specialkellbrook. Our little champ…First baby in boxing history to be born to two world champions…(no pressure tho).”
Bridges, 38 and Brook, 38, are both former world champions, with the Aussie previously holding the IBF female bantamweight title, while Brook was the IBF welterweight champion, and fought to unify the division against Gennady Golovkin in 2016.
And it appears their careers brought them together years earlier, as Bridges had previously posted a picture with Brook on social media back in August 2022.
Posing for a picture together at Anthony Joshua’s second fight against Oleksandr Usyk, the Blonde Bomber added a teasing caption, writing: “Imagine the kids (eyes emoji) #JustSaying.” Well now, we don’t have to imagine.
Ezerra became the first baby born to two former world champions, but Bridges revealed she still continued training during her pregnancy. She said: “Training what I can and what I can do.
“Trying to keep myself fit and same I’m in the gym. I’m training a friend. I’m training for her while prepping her for her fights as well, so helping others fighters as well. While I’m not in full force.
“I’ve got very itchy knuckles, and I’m hanging to get back into the ring big time.” She even joked she missed the cardio side of things.
Bridges has become an adopted Yorkshire lass, staging three of her last four bouts in Leeds. She joked she’s hoping to make a return to the city in the future and is hoping to be back in the ring by the end of 2025.
