Ex-Premier League star Aleksandar Mitrovic rushed to hospital with coronary heart downside

Ex-Premier Legaue star Aleksandar Mitrovic has been rushed to hospital with a heart issue.
According to reports in Saudi Arabia, the Serbian striker has been taken to hospital due to “rapid heartbeat caused by physical stress”.
Mitrovic, 30, who played on these shores for Fulham and Newcastle, moved to Saudi Arabia in 2023 when he joined Al Hilal in a big-money transfer. And he has continued his goalscoring in the Middle East, netting 40 in his first season.
However, he has now been ordered to undergo “complete rest” after being taken to hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Mitrovic had played in Al Hilal’s 2-0 win over Al Feiha on Friday – less than 48 hours before the incident. It was his first game in two months, after being sidelined due to a hamstring issue.
“It has been a tough two and half months for me, had some problems with my hamstring, injury… after injury,” Mitrovic told SSC Sports after the game.
“I worked really hard to come back… I can help my teammates… happy with the goal.”
