The tribute – which took place in Sydney, Australia at the end of the Race of Champions – was joined by all 20 drivers competing in the event, showing solidarity with one of racing’s greatest icons.
Michael, long regarded as one of the best drivers in Formula 1 history, won a record-equalling seven world titles and held the record for most Grand Prix wins until Lewis Hamilton surpassed him in 2020.
