Marine Nationale was an emotional winner of the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham.
The 5/1 shot beat odds-on favourite Jonbon to canter home under Sean Flanagan for Barry Connell.
Eyes had been on Marine Nationale leading into the Festival with the horse giving late jockey Michael O’Sullivan his most famous win in 2023. O’Sullivan died last month after suffering injuries in a fall at Worcester 10 days earlier.
