Darts followers love Luke Littler’s ‘chill’ response after 167 Premier League darts out
Luke Littler was at his brilliant best in Nottingham as he took out three massive ton plus outs all finishing on the bull after nailing 164 against Luke Humphries
It was all in a night’s work for Luke Littler.
The Nuke, 18, had already pinned 164 against Luke Humphries in a ding-dong clash in the first round of Premier League darts in Nottingham. And he was back to his brilliant best against Rob Cross.
Cross was two legs to the good when the reigning World Champion came roaring back. The Nuke took out 167 on the bull as Littler’s brilliance was on full display on night five.
The Runcorn-born thrower turned to the crowd and shrugged – as if to tell them it was all just too easy for him.
The following leg, Littler took out 127 – also finishing on the bull. And it was then time for another massive ton plus finishing as he landed his second 164 of the evening.
He was five out of five on the finishes and two for two on the outer ring as he headed into the final leg. And when another bull finish presented itself, the crowd expected.
However, he would miss the bull and then twice miss D10, before hitting it on his next visit to book a spot in the final.
“Luke Littler is literally the greatest sportsman in his respective sport ever. No one like him man,” one fan shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Littler is just a joke. How are you doing that with ease,” a second posted. While a third said: “Three things are guaranteed in life Death, taxes & Luke Littler taking the p*** out of his opponents!”
And another added: “Luke Littler, I am running out of superlatives to describe you. Wow!”
