‘Proud mummy’ who had intercourse with pug Charlie ‘must be in jail like her paedo associate’

Social media users have slammed the sick woman’s excuse that she was ‘forced into having sex’ with her pug Charlie, with people now calling for her to be thrown in prison like her paedo partner

A vile woman who says her paedo partner coerced her into having sex with their pet pug Charlie “should be in prison” as well as him because “no one can force you to do that”, say outraged social media users.

Paige Reaney, 33, was spared jail after pleading guilty to having sex with “poor, helpless” Charlie on no fewer than five occasions between August 2019 and December 2022. Some of these disgusting acts were even filmed and put on social media. She was handed a nine-month prison term, suspended for two years, on March 3 while her long-time partner Graham Marshall, 39, was jailed for five years.

Sentencing the sickos, Judge Jeremy Richardson KC said he accepted there was a “level of coercion” when Marshall made Reaney engage in a range of sex acts with their pet, but she still retained some culpability. He told her: “You never refused any of those requests.”

Judge Richardson KC described how the pair shared images between themselves on TikTok. Marshall described these as “so, so, f****** hot, it’s amazing”, while Reaney told him: “Wish I could have you right now.” The court also heard Marshall called Reaney “mummy” when talking to the dog. Reaney also hailed herself a “proud full-time mummy” on Facebook.

Judge Richardson added a vet concluded Charlie would have been in distress and pain when he was forced to engage in the acts, which were outlined in grim detail in the court.

While the court heard Marshall’s “perverted” sexual fantasies drove the abuse of the pug at their home in Sheffield, South Yorks, people have questioned her level of accountability and say she “blamed everything on him” to avoid prison time.

“She’s just as guilty and should be jailed also,” wrote someone on Facebook. “This has to be the lowest form of depravity…what is wrong with these reprobates….that poor dog, jail them both,” added another as they called for Reaney to be put behind bars.

A third person questioned Reaney’s excuse, writing: “How the hell can someone convince you to have sex with a dog, these people need [redacted]. Sick in the head”. Another agreed: “Nah, you’re born evil. Nobody could talk anybody of sound mind into such depraved acts. Two peas in a [redacted] pod […] I don’t agree that she didn’t get the same punishment as him at all”.

Yet another fumed: “Sick vile evil B’s, both of them deserved jailing, how can anyone comprehend such a sick depraved act on an innocent wee dog”.

It comes after the freaks’ photos on Facebook came to light. The couple can be seen frolicking in a hot tub and sticking their tongues out for the camera in selfies posted on Reaney’s page. In the carefree snaps, they appear like any other loved-up, law-abiding couple, just having fun and enjoying each other’s company. But their lives soon began crumbling around them.

Having received a suspended sentence, Reaney must also complete 30 rehabilitation activity sessions and will be subject to notification requirements for 10 years. They were both banned from keeping animals.

Judge Richardson branded the case the “worst” of its kind he had experienced in almost half a century of covering courts, adding Marshall “wallowed in a swamp of sexual depravity”. Authorities were first alerted to Marshall in 2019 when he was found in possession of illegal images of a child.

Several electronic devices were seized and cops uncovered evidence of both child exploitation and bestiality. Additionally, it was revealed that Marshall had installed a hidden camera in a women’s restroom to film unsuspecting victims.

Marshall faced multiple charges, including aiding and abetting sexual acts with an animal, arranging such acts, possessing extreme pornographic material, creating and possessing indecent images of children, and voyeurism.

Reaney was charged with multiple counts of engaging in bestiality and possession of related images.

Charlie the pug is now being cared for by a “relative”.
