Disturbing CCTV emerges of girl earlier than thriller disappearance from Caribbean resort

A key detail has been revealed in last known footage of missing young student, Sudiksha Konanki who was spotted throwing up during a night out in the early hours before disappearing

Disturbing CCTV footage of a young woman who has vanished from a Caribbean resort has emerged showing her throwing up before her disappearance.

Sudiksha Konanki, 20, disappeared after being last spotted at a bar in the Riu Republica resort in Punta Cana on March 6. Now, CCTV footage shows her throwing up at 4.05am before walking back into a bar in one of the last times she was seen.

Former Iowa high school wrestling champ Joshua Riibe, 24, the last person seen with the missing student, is seen in the background of the footage with two other men standing behind him.

Riibe, who is not a suspect, reportedly changed his story several times during interrogations, reports People.

Following the events in the footage, Konanki is said to have gone to the beach with her three friends, Riibe and a friend of his.

Just before 5am, two of her friends returned to the hotel without her according to security footage At 8.54am, Riibe was seen returning to his room, also without her.

University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki has not been seen since those early hours, reports the Mirror.

Riibe was questioned by Dominican prosecutors, who he told the pair had kissed in the ocean before they were almost swept away when a wave came crashing into them.

He claims that he saved her life by stopping her from drowning. Reports say that the young man was accompanied by two lawyers, and refused to answer some questions put to him by prosecutors.

As it stands, Sudiksha’s disappearance is being investigated as a missing persons case with officials considering whether Ms Konanki may have drowned.
