Girl, 4, killed in Lynemouth home blaze as mum posts heartbreaking tribute to ‘angel’
A “gorgeous angel” who tragically lost her life in a devastating house fire in Northumberland this week has been identified for the first time.
Little Kiki, 4, died in a tragic fire in Lynemouth, Northumberland on Monday night. In a heartbreaking post, the sweet girl’s mother wrote: “I miss you baby girl, fly high and rest easy my gorgeous angel.”
Emergency services responded to the incident at around 9:30pm on Monday March 17, where the found KiKi in the house. Despite their best efforts, she died at the scene. A woman in her 20s and a two year old girl managed to escape the flames and were taken to hospital.

In a statement, Northumbria Police said: “We have launched an investigation after a young child tragically died in a house fire in Northumberland.
“Just before 9:30pm yesterday, we received a report from Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service of a fire on Kingsley Road in Lynemouth. A four year old girl was found inside the address and despite the efforts of responders, she tragically died at the scene.”
“A woman in her 20s and a two year old girl also received medical treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital for treatment. Both remain in hospital in stable conditions.
“This is an absolutely devastating incident in which a young girl has tragically lost her life. All of our thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.”

A memorial has been set up outside the house with a number of toys and floral arrangements placed by saddened friends and members of the public.
Detective Chief Inspector Louise Jenkins added: “This is an absolutely devastating incident in which a young girl has tragically lost her life. All of our thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
“Enquiries remain at a very early stage, and with the support of our partners from Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service we are determined to establish exactly what happened.
“We are asking anyone with information – no matter how small or insignificant it may seem – to come forward and share what they know.”
