Police hunt for younger man portrayed in Netflix drama Toxic Town after footage emerges displaying him lined in his personal blood and shouting on the street
A young man whose moving story is portrayed in Netflix‘s hit drama Toxic Town is wanted by police, MailOnline can reveal.
Connor McIntyre was one of 15 children who suffered abnormalities at birth after their mothers were exposed to toxic waste in a scandal that made the town of Corby notorious.
Now 28, McIntyre has enjoyed local celebrity after the success of the show released on the streaming platform last month and which stars Jodie Whittaker as his real life mother Susan McIntyre.
Today it emerged that McIntyre is on the run from police.
Northamptonshire Police issued an appeal to help them locate McIntyre following an assault at a property in Kettering, which is said to have happened on January 23.
It comes after social media posts – seen by MailOnline – were published on social media by McIntyre’s ex-partner.
In the post, she alleges the Netflix star pushed his way into her home after she didn’t respond to his messages, and in the process cut his own face, leaving her property covered in blood, and looking like a ‘murder scene’.
A video included in the post shows a screaming McIntyre covered in blood screaming in the middle of the street shouting that the woman had ‘ignored’ him.

Other graphic images show the 28-year-old drenched in his own blood, as well as another picture revealing the scars across his face after the incident.
A Northamptonshire Police force spokesperson said: ‘Northamptonshire Police is appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of Connor McIntyre, who has links to the Corby area.
‘Officers would like to speak to the 28-year-old in connection with an allegation of assault at a residential address in Kettering on January 23.’
McIntyre’s mother Susan McIntyre became celebrated after she helped bring the scandal to light when she fought her local Corby Council for compensation for a birth defect for her son.
In the hit show – written by Jack Thorne, who also wrote another current Netflix hit, Adolescence – young Connor McIntyre is played by Toby Eden.
He was one of 15 children who were born with defects, believed to have been caused by industrial pollution from the steelworks.
Susan and a group of mothers were eventually awarded £14.6million from the local authority after it was found toxic dust had contributed to their children’s birth defects.
Now Northamptonshire Police’s statement continued ‘Anyone who has seen McIntyre or who knows of his whereabouts can call police on 101, or contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
‘Please quote incident number 25000045170 when providing any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.’
