Home Bargains is promoting ‘Dubai’ chocolate for simply £3.99 – and it is ‘so good’
Home Bargains is selling an affordable version of the viral Dubai chocolate and shoppers are obsessed – the sweets have been flying off the shelves as fans rush to bag a packet
Bargain hunters with a sweet tooth are swarming to Home Bargains to snag the shop’s budget take on the viral ‘Dubai chocolate.’ These tempting confections are flying off the shelves as chocoholics stock up.
The coveted choccy, originally going viral as “Can’t Get Knafeh Of It”, comes from Dubai’s Fix Dessert and has taken TikTok by storm. Its scrumptious mix of milk chocolate, pistachio cream, and crunchy kataifi has Brits drooling, a taste sensation previously uncharted in the UK.
But now, instead of shelling out big bucks to ship over the genuine article, Home Bargains is offering up a pocket-sized version perfect for nibbling or sharing. Keep your eyes peeled for Wawi Dubites Dubai Style Pistachio Chocolate in store.
Priced at £3.99, these treats come in eye-catching green packets that’ll pop out on the candy shelves.
TikTok’s buzzing with videos of eager snackers trying to get their hands on the goodies.
When Home Bargains posted about the sweet on its social media, the hype was real. The post exclaimed: “Stop what your doing – Dubai chocolate has landed in store!”.
One raved: “It’s so good for only £3.99!” Another exclaimed: “These are unreal. So tasty!” And a chuffed buyer admitted: “We’ve already gone through four packs! It’s so delicious!”
A savvy snacker offered a “game changing” tip for indulging in the treat, suggesting: “Warm them in the microwave so they go really soft. So much nicer!”.
But not everyone’s over the moon. A disgruntled customer grumbled: “I brought 5 packs I returned the other 4. Its more like truffles with a hint of pistachio but nothing like the actual Dubai fix chocolate trust me I ran to grab them and was disappointed!”.
Another unimpressed punter remarked: “It tastes okay but nothing like the real Dubai chocolate!”
The hype around this treat has spurred other brands to attempt their own versions.
Lindt bars are available for £10, while discount retailer Lidl is set to launch its own adaptation this week.
The supermarket will be selling the first 6,000 bars exclusively via the platform that made the treat so famous – TikTok.
