Home Bargains has just dropped a bombshell in the beauty world with their latest skincare knockoff. The “Senchi” moisturiser is causing quite the stir, being touted as the budget-friendly twin of the coveted Tatcha face cream.

With a price tag over £60 less than its high-end counterpart, bargain hunters are swarming to grab the Home Bargains steal. TikTok’s own Beth Wainright put the £67 50ml Tatcha cream head-to-head with the £3.99 Home Bargains alternative.

She pointed out: “Just because the packaging is the same, doesn’t mean it’s the same product.”, reports Birmingham Live. Beth did concede, though, that the scent of both creams bore a striking resemblance.

The TikTok influencer noted: “The Home Bargains product feels more like a moisturiser, whereas the Tatcha for me feels more like a gel.”

After testing each cream on half her face, Beth observed that the “glowy” finish from the Tatcha cream wasn’t quite replicated by the Home Bargains version.

She shared: “As a moisturiser, the Home Bargains one is nice, but I will say I feel a lot more hydrated and glowy on the Tatcha side.”

Despite her loyalty to Tatcha, Beth couldn’t deny that for its price, the Home Bargains dupe was a solid bargain.

She concluded: “It’s a nice product, and for the price it is super affordable and really nice on the skin.”

Beth’s followers were quick to back up her verdict, with some even sharing their own tales of reactions to the product.

One commenter revealed: “I tried the home bargains dupe, it made my skin break out really bad and go really red – I had to stop using it.”

Yet, beauty TikToker Amber Leigh gave a thumbs up to the Senchi moisturiser.

A TikTok user exclaimed: “This looks so good!”.
