‘Hot mughsot’ strikes once more as glam sorority woman arrested days after viral fame
Lily Stewart has been arrested again on Sunday after an army of online admirers joked their pulse was going faster than her car was when her mugshot was shared on social media
A stunning student who went viral for her “hot mugshot” was arrested again Sunday, about two weeks after her initial arrest.
University of Georgia student Lily Stewart, 20, was arrested by the university Police Department and booked at the Athens–Clarke County jail around 5:30 in the morning. She was arrested for two misdemeanors, allegedly obstruction of a law enforcement officer and loitering.
Stewart posted a bond of USD$4,600 and was released from police custody around 11 a.m.
Her latest mugshot released shows her in a blue prison uniform with her blonde bouncy hair parted down the middle. Again, she was sporting a big bright smile in the photo.
It is the second time this month Stewart has been arrested, with the first sending the world crazy with social media users fawning over her.
Stewart was first arrested on for breaking the speed limit in Georgia, US, earlier this month.
One social media user quipped: “Guilty of stealing my heart, your honour.” Another said: “Whatever she did my heart says she’s innocent.”
A third joked: “I’m doing 80 in a 60 on the way” while a fourth said: “I guess being pretty is a crime now?”
One comment read: “They done locked up miss America.”
University of Georgia student Stewart, a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, saw the funny side and shared some of her favourite responses on her own TikTok page.
She posted a selection under the caption: “Some of my favourite/unhinged comments on my mugshot.”
They included one which joked: “She was trying to get the last Pumpkin Latte of the season.”
Another one she shared read: “Maybe she just had to poo really bad.”
A third jibed: “Your honour, my client like totally didn’t see that sign.”
Another of her favourites was: “She look like a third grade teacher. She was just running late to her class, your honour.”
The selection also included a comment that read: “In excess of speeding up my heart rate, your honour.”
She also shared: “She’s about to exceed my maximum limits, your honour.”
Stewart has attended the university since 2023, according to her LinkedIn, and is a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. In recent social media posts, Stewart appears to have been spent Spring Break in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, popular with American students.
