‘Fantastic high quality’ Ring doorbell now 40% off in Amazon Spring sale
Amazon’s Spring Deals Days sale is in full swing, offering massive price cuts on a variety of items, including the highly-rated Ring Battery Video Doorbell. The sought-after wireless doorbell has won over customers with its “superb” battery life and “super easy” installation process.
The 2024 release of the Ring Battery Video Doorbell is currently discounted by 40%, bringing its price down to £59.99 from £99.99. It comes in two elegant finishes – Venetian bronze or satin nickel.
This doorbell is a breeze to install and can be easily removed for charging. It boasts 1440×1440 HD Video with Colour Night Vision, providing a crisp view of your doorstep even in low light conditions.
Additionally, it features Privacy Zones that allow you to exclude certain areas from your Video Doorbell’s field of view, ensuring that your Ring device neither displays nor records activity within these zones.
With an impressive online rating of 4.5 stars, the Ring doorbell has garnered glowing reviews from satisfied customers. One such review reads: “Great product. Works seamlessly and super easy to setup unlike some other brands. The notifications are real time. Had issues with old doorbell from another brand where I would only get alerts 15-20 seconds later and the person at the door would have left by then and it is not the case with Ring,” reports the Mirror.
They added: “The motion detection is accurate and you can set detection boundaries. The picture quality is one of the best I have seen and the night vision is good too. The app helps you connect to the wifi and has lot of features within that are configurable. The battery life is also good but its too early to comment on that since I have only had this for 1 month.”

Another user penned: “A good upgrade from the ring video doorbell gen 2 , I’m using this with the compatible solar panel and the battery life is superb, it was a doddle to connect, when I took the old doorbell off this one fitted into the same holes so was a really straightforward swap and using it with the solar panel is a game changer, the battery is still on 100% a week later so hopefully it continues to stay charged with the solar panel.
“The alerts are excellent, it picks up all movement in the garden and is also an excellent security device as well as a good doorbell, it picks up the whole of my front garden and small playing field in front of the house so it’s a good HD security camera as well as being great for parcel deliveries and missed calls.
“The video footage is excellent as is the playback of the footage through the day, I get alerts on my watch and phone so I can stay connected to any alerts, missed parcels , people entering the front garden and it even picks up people on the small field so the motion detection is superb for a small video doorbell camera.”
Another pleased customer raved: “Brilliant doorbell. The best we have had. Fantastic doorbell. Good clear viewing and love that I can speak to the delivery person even when out.
“Charging is easy and lasts a good 2-3 weeks and the app tells you when it needs charging. We do ours over night. Works great for us. Would recommend.”
A fourth happy shopper exclaimed: “Wow this is the best thing I have ever bought…quality fantastic, lets video tell you who is at the door it also let you know if the is a package there and it’s a great camera to see who been passing or in your garden etc…I could go on about this product but I am currently buying one for the back door…just buy it, you will not regret it.”
But not everyone was singing from the same hymn sheet, with some buyers less than thrilled. One disgruntled user penned: “This doorbell has greats features, unfortunately, unless you pay for a subscription package, it is just a simple doorbell.”
Another dissatisfied buyer pointed out: “You need to pay each month if you want to see video records. No chance to choose your own device for data storage. Waste of money. Would not recommend. But picture is not bed.”
