JD Vance is the ‘most harmful man on this planet’ over Europe grudge, diplomats worry
Vice President of the US JD Vance is a man to be feared many senior diplomats believe after recent comments (and alleged texts) have shown a bitterness to Europe
Bitter JD Vance, also dubbed JD Dunce, is the most dangerous man in the White House because he resents Europe so much, top diplomats fear.
They claim that the whining vice president is obsessed with driving a wedge between the European continent and the US after leaked Signal messages revealed the level of anger he harbours for helping out the USA’s so-called allies.
The vice-president’s festering fury was exposed after Donald Trump’s bungling key cabinet members accidentally added US journalist Jeffrey Goldberg to a top secret chat about war plans on messaging app Signal.
The leaked messages revealed that the group were plotting a strike on Houthi rebels in Yemen, which JD Dunce moaned would be much more beneficial for Europe than it would be for the US.
He wrote: “I just hate bailing Europe out again”.
The grumbling US defence secretary Pete Hegseth replied: “I fully share your loathing of European free-loading. It’s PATHETIC.”
According to the US Department of State’s own website, America “has no closer ally than the United Kingdom.”
Downing Street last night denied Britain was a freeloader, stating that the UK and US team up to defeat mutual enemies such as Daesh, formerly known as Isis.
The PM’s spokesperson said: “You’ll know the UK provided air-to-air refuelling support for recent strikes against Houthi key rebel targets.
“We also continue to support the US-led coalition against Daesh with routine combat air patrol over Iraq and Syria.
“We’ll continue to work with the US and other allies to ensure stability and security in the Middle East.”
PM Sir Keir Starmer recently bowed to pressure to boost defence spending to 2.5% of national income by 2027 after Donald Trump demanded Europe put its hand in its pocket.
Now the sneering vice president’s grudge will cause another headache for diplomats trying to nurture the supposed “special relationship”.
And the disdain for Euro allies has now worried the entire continent’s political classes.
One European diplomat said: “He is very dangerous for Europe, maybe the most dangerous in the administration.”
Kaja Kallas, the European foreign policy chief, recently accused Dunce of “trying to pick a fight”.
The vice-president said that targeting Houthi forces attacking vessels in the Suez Canal serves European interests more than US ones, as Europe has more trade running through the canal.
Dunce said his boss was maybe unaware of how US action could help Europe.
He said: “I am not sure the president is aware how inconsistent this is with his message on Europe right now.
“There’s a further risk that we see moderate to severe spike in oil prices.”
