Fans have been left horrified by Ryan Reynolds‘ admission that he made his daughter Inez say a ‘sick and disgusting’ line in the third Deadpool film – amid ongoing Justin Baldoni lawsuits.
In the 2024 movie Deadpool & Wolverine, Inez, then seven-years-old, had a small role as the foul-mouthed Kidpool, who utters the line: ‘Hey, when I want your opinion I’ll take Wolverine’s d*** out of your mouth.’
In a commentary track for Deadpool & Wolverine’s Deadpool Corps scene in 2024, Ryan joined director of the movie Shawn Levy to share all things behind-the-scenes, and revealed they had cajoled Inez into saying the line, which she had to ‘repeat 70 to 500 times’ on set.
Reynolds said Inez was originally reluctant, but changed her mind last minute when he suggested that he’d look for another actor to take the part.
The actor joked he should get ‘the best father of the year award’ as he admitted he coached Inez on the script.
Deadpool fans have taken notice of Reynolds’ comments about the incident amid his ongoing legal wranglings with Justin Baldoni, in which he branded the It Ends With Us director a ‘predator’.

Viewers were left reeling while watching Ryan and Blake Lively’s then seven-year-old say the vulgar lines, which she had to repeat 70 to 500 times on set (pictured with Inez in 2021)
Watching the clip back, Ryan said: ‘Guiltily, that is my daughter Inez.’
‘I’m so sorry we have to admit that’, Shawn interjected.
Ryan continued: ‘And I am father of the year over here for allowing her to say such language, which to her credit she really didn’t want to say.’
‘And then [she] came back later and said “I want to say it now” when I started looking at other people to play.’
Shawn said: ‘Yeah but Ryan, to our discredit, we made Nezzy do, I am not s****** you, 70 to 500 versions of that line.’
‘Yeah, I’m going to pay for that later,’ Ryan said.

Speaking at the New York premiere of the film last year, Reynolds referenced Inez’s role, as well as his son Olin, who played Babypool.
‘I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing – that is, the contents of this movie – that happens in your wondrous life,’ he said.
Fans are now reacting to Inez’s role in the film with renewed criticism, branding it ‘sickening’ and ‘perverted’ that she was allowed to say the line.
One wrote: ‘I would love to know what the other adult actors onset felt and thought during those 70 takes when a 7 year old was upset then decided to do it when their father said he was going to replace her.
As an adult I would absolutely have piped up to both of these sickos. (My opinion).’
’70 to 500 times!!! These people really just tell on themselves and were hiding in plain sight the whole time!!!’,

Fans shared their disgust after the clip circulated on social media, branding it ‘sickening’ and ‘perverted’ that she was allowed to say the line

As well as Inez, Blake and Ryan, who wed in 2012, share daughters James, 10, Betty, five, and two-year-old son Olin (pictured with their two daughters in 2020)
‘Speechless. The level of their depravity is just sickening!!!!’,
‘Wow such a sick family’,
‘This is so perverted! It really diabolical for him as her father’,
‘Wow! That is unbelievable. Whatever happened to protecting young children. So sad’,
‘Making a child say those lines against their will! Uhhh where is child services?!’

The shocking footage comes amid Blake’s multi-million dollar sexual harassment lawsuit against It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin
Justin has filed a $400 million lawsuit against his former publicist Stephanie Jones, who was working with the Ugly Betty actor, alleging she leaked damaging texts to Blake’s legal team.
The New York Times, which is also being sued by Justin, said the texts were turned over after being subpoenaed.
Blake and her legal team have filed a motion to have Justin’s lawsuit against her dismissed, claiming it is ‘baseless’ and ‘retaliatory,’ and violate a new California law that prohibits retaliatory lawsuits tied to public disclosures of sexual harassment.
If the court agrees with Blake, Justin and his co-defendants could be required to pay the actress’ legal fees, punitive damages and could have to pay three times the amount of damages she is deemed to have suffered.
Ryan has also filed a motion to dismiss Justin’s defamation lawsuit against him for calling the actor a ‘predator’ in private conversations.
However, Ryan’s legal team argued those statements do not meet the definition of defamation, especially since the Deadpool star believed the statements to be true.
