‘Tacky’ Donald Trump Slammed For ‘Pimping’ Out White House Easter Tradition

Critics are crying foul over reports that President Donald Trump’s White House is seeking corporate sponsorships for this year’s Easter Egg Roll.

The White House is offering sponsorship opportunities ranging from $75,000 to $200,000, allowing companies to gain “naming rights for key areas or elements,” logo placements on signage, branded giveaways, and mentions in official communications, according to a pitch document obtained by CNN and The New York Times.

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), a vocal Trump critic, called for a boycott of any company that shells out cash for the event. “Let’s make sure it’s just Balance of nature, my pillow and relief factor and whatever else Foxnews one,” he wrote on social media:

Other critics flagged the ethical concerns of allowing such corporate influence at an official government bash. Some called it and Trump “tacky” and accused the president of “pimping” out the tradition.
