The Stanley Mother’s Day Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumbler: The final Mother’s Day present
When is a giant bottle not a giant bottle? When it’s the Stanley Mother’s Day Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumbler 1.2l version dubbed the “ultimate Mother’s Day present” by my wife.
When I asked her what she wanted for Mother’s Day – from our daughter, not me . . . obviously – without any hesitation told me about this tumbler. I, who makes do with a glass, had heard of Stanley but had never really known what it was all about and why so many were hyped on it.
But having spent the last few days marvelling at this rather awesome product that is far more than just a tumbler – and its limited edition so even more exciting.

In Stanley’s own words: “This Cream vessel is complete with a glossy red floral pattern perfect for Spring and to bring a bold pattern to your everyday hydration routine.
“Constructed of 90% recycled stainless steel, the Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumbler helps you reach your hydration goals with fewer refills. With our vacuum insulation, your water will stay cold for 11 hours, two days when iced.
“The FLOWSTATE lid features a rotating cover with three positions. The ergonomic handle includes comfort-grip inserts for easy carrying, and the narrow base fits just about any car cup holder. Every piece of this stainless steel water bottle is dishwasher safe.”

I can not argue with a single word of what Stanley claims for this product. My wife – yes, she opened the gift early – took it with her to work and can confirm that the ice water she put into it does stay cold for an entire day of work (around 8.5 hours), and that when washed in in dishwasher, it comes out perfectly clean and undamaged.
The reusable straw is comfortable to use, and just the perfect length to not hurt the inside of your mouth or leave you wanting more.
The design is understated, yet really rather nice and also quite unique to any other special Mother’s Day “limited edition” gift out there.
Overall, it does what it says on the tin – or tumbler – but it does it with style, grace and elegance.
And it’s worth the investment for £50 as well – 9/10.
