Glam footballer Alisha Lehmann may very well be cut up from boyfriend with Prem switch
Alisha Lehmann’s partner could be in line for a return to the Premier League this summer to help boost the Champions League chances of a side who have shocked many this season
Stunning Alisha Lehmann could be left without partner Douglas Luiz in Italy as the Brazilian star is a target for a return to the Premier League this summer.
Luiz, 26, left Aston Villa for Juventus last summer in a £50million five-year deal, with Lehmann making the exact same switch from Villa to Juve less than a week later on a contract to 2027. It hasn’t all been great news in Italy, though, with the pair’s home robbed late last year.
Brazil international Luiz has made just 15 league appearances so far this season after a number of injury concerns but is once again a target for Nottingham Forest as they begin to plan for a European adventure for 2025-26.
Luiz has also been on Arsenal’s radar in the past but Forest tried to land him in January and are ready to return in the summer, with a season-long loan the most likely option.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are third in the Premier League table with just nine games remaining and are six points clear of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in fifth place, meaning a spot in next year’s Champions League is well within their grasp.
And with more games to play, Santo is looking for experience to help his side, especially when it comes to playing teams from the continent. Midfielder Luiz, who featured in over 200 games for Aston Villa across five seasons, would certainly offer that know-how.
But a move back to England for Luiz will likely mean spending time away from Lehmann, with there being no signs of a return to the Women’s Super League for her, despite a productive season in Turin, where she has scored two goals.
Lehmann also has a massive social media following, with over 16.6m followers on Instagram, while Luiz has just 1.5m.
Swiss star Lehmann, 26, and her side currently top the Women’s Serie A by a whopping 10 points ahead of Inter Milan, while Luiz & Co are only fifth, 12 points behind leaders Inter.
However, all may not be lost, with Lehmann announced as one of the bosses for MVPs United in the new Baller League, with games held at the Copper Box in London on Monday nights.
The 12-team, six-a-side league has 12 rounds of fixtures before a finals day on June 11.
Maya Jama is also bossing MVPs United with Lehmann, with former Premier League stars, futsal players, celebrities and influencers all taking part.
