Inside Liam Lawson’s lavish life-style he shares with social media influencer WAG
Liam Lawson’s Red Bull dream could be over before it has even truly begun with it reported that the rookie is set to be replaced by Racing Bulls driver Yuki Tsunoda after just two races
Liam Lawson’s F1 stock has plummeted just two weeks into the new season, with him looking set to be replaced at Red Bull.
The Kiwi was named as Red Bull’s second driver to Max Verstappen, replacing Sergio Perez as he earned a promotion from sister team Racing Bulls.
But after failing to score points in the opening two Grand Prix and the sprint race in China, he is reportedly being dropped for Yuki Tsunoda.
Lawson’s impact in F1 was instant when he replaced Daniel Ricciardo in 2023 after the Aussie broke his hand in a crash, and later permanently took Ricciardo’s seat last season, alongside Tsunoda.
While Lawson’s career appears to be on the rocks, the Kiwi lives a very glamorous life off the track, with his stunning model girlfriend Hannah St. John.
The 23-year-old has dated social media influencer Hannah since 2022. She is a former student and model who has become a TikTok sensation with over 115k followers and more than 2.9m likes.
Lawson isn’t afraid to get involved with his partners’ videos as he can be seen frequently across her pages. Hannah can often be found trackside as she joins her boyfriend travelling the globe.
She previously split her time between her home city of California and London whilst also studying at Arizona State University, where she graduated in December, having studied biological and biomedical sciences.
Lawson is a bit of a social-media guru himself as he often posts slide-shows of days in his life. The images can vary depending on what the Kiwi is up to as he seems to be taking advantage of every opportunity that approaches him.
One series of pics show him hanging out with star players from the NFL team Los Angeles Rams.
Another has him driving a £100k+ Shelby and playing guitars in Las Vegas whilst a third showed him featuring on the front cover of GQ Magazine.
As a teenager, Lawson moved from New Zealand to England so he could focus on his motorsport career. The 22-year-old lives near Milton Keynes – the home of Red Bull Racing. In fact, he told BBC Sport that the roundabouts in Milton Keynes helped with his driving.
Despite stepping into the Red Bull seat, Lawson’s salary is actually one of the lowest on the grid, with him reportedly earning £800,000 for the season, almost half of what four-year grid veteran Tsunoda earns and 50 times less than the sport’s highest-paid driver Verstappen.
Red Bull are known for their cut-throat attitude towards drivers’ performances.
Fellow F1 pilots Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon had driven for the Red Bull team early in their careers. Both of them failed to reach the standards of their dominant teammate Verstappen and were therefore dumped from the team before finding success at other teams on the grid.
