Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry ‘heartbroken’ as bombshell charity claims depart him embroiled in race row

Prince Harry has declared he is heartbroken after he quit the African charity he set up in honour of his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales following a boardroom battle.

The Duke of Sussex founded Sentebale in 2006 with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to help young people and children in southern Africa, particularly those living with HIV and Aids.

But he announced his decision to quit after several trustees have left the organisation in a dispute with the chairwoman of the board, Dr Sophie Chandauka, having requested her resignation.

In a bombshell statement to the Mail, Dr Chandauka alleged there was a ‘cover up’ going at the charity, blasting ‘weak executive management, abuse of power, bullying, harassment, misogyny, and misogynoir [discrimination against black women]’.
