EXCLUSIVE: Banking giants Santander announced earlier this month that it would be closing 95 branches, and now the full list and closure dates has been revealed

The full list of all 95 Santander branches closing – or have already closed – has been revealed. Earlier this month the banking giants announced a raft of closures, with other branches being given reduced hours.

The bank has warned that the changes could potentially jeopardise around 750 jobs – representing more than 4% of its 18,000-strong UK workforce – subject to approval following discussions with unions.

The majority of the job losses are linked to the branch closures, while approximately 12% are due to the proposed reduction in working hours. A spokesman said: “Closing a branch is always a very difficult decision and we spend a great deal of time assessing where and when we do this and how to minimise the impact it may have on our customers.
