An inmate who had relationships with a prison officer and a nurse at the same time is being hunted by the police. “Loverboy lag” Harri Pullen was released from jails, where he started his romances, before he was arrested recently.

The

Pullen was freed from prison after he served his term but police say is he now wanted for alleged drug dealing. Four other women were arrested for allegedly helping Pullen to escape a hospital he had been taken to after being arrested.

Gwent Police said in a statement: “Harri was last seen at around 3.45pm on Wednesday 26 March outside the Grange University Hospital, Cwmbran where he had been taken following his arrest on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

“Pullen left the Grange University Hospital car park after being picked up by someone in a black Vauxhall Insignia. Four women, aged 28, 31 41, and 58, were later arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

“The 58-year-old woman has since been released on police bail while the other three remain in police custody at this time. Anyone with information on his whereabout is asked to contact us quoting log reference 2500095727.”

Shmylo was cleared earlier this week of having an inappropriate relationship with a criminal between December 2020 and April 2021. However, nurse Hibbs was jailed for for six months for having an affair with Pullen.

After quitting her job in HMP Parc in Bridgend in July 2021, she was arrested a week later with her communication with Pullen happening via a mutual associate on Instagram on an iPhone he was hiding in prison.

She admitted messaging the inmate and said she was frightened to stop the communication after he had made threats to her in the past. When talking about Hibbs’ calls with the inmate prosecutor Matthew Cobbe said: “He tells her that he loves her and she tells him that she loves him too.

“The calls included references to the defendant’s existing partner and the inmate continuously suggested he would replace him and be in a relationship with her.

“She told him she didn’t want him messaging her as she was anxious and that she didn’t trust him.”

He added: “She explained that she and the inmate were never in a sexual relationship of any kind at all. She accepted she should have reported the matter but that she got in too deep and couldn’t get out.”

But Hibbs’s defence, Adam Sharp has a different outlook and says: “‘She was young, impressionable, inexperienced and vulnerable to the malign influence of the inmate who sought to exploit her.”

He also claimed that the prisoner was a ‘particularly manipulative individual’ But, Hibbs was jailed for six months, and the Nursing and Midwifery Council handed her a 12-month ban in July.

Recorder of Cardiff Tracey Lloyd-Clarke, said to Hibbs: “You knew what you were doing was wrong, you had training but nevertheless you went ahead and formed what was clearly an emotional relationship with this prisoner.”
