Two feminine lecturers at Christian college ‘had intercourse with similar boy simply days aside’
Bonnie Elizabeth Brown, 25, and Sherri Delle Mauldin, 60, were arrested just days apart and both accused of aggravated child molestation and statutory rape in Georgia
Two female teachers in Georgia have been arrested for sexual misconduct after both were involved in illegal sex acts with the same young boy within days of each other.
Sherri Delle Mauldin, 60, is facing charges including improper sexual contact by an employee, agent, or foster parent, aggravated child molestation and statutory rape.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said that Mauldin allegedly abused the boy while on the payroll at National Greene Academy, a Christian school in near Atlanta, USA. A GBI spokesperson revealed that Mauldin’s arrest came days after another teacher from the same school was arrested for engaging in improper sexual antics with the same student.ollowed hot on the heels of another
People magazine reports that the GBI had been investigating Bonnie Elizabeth Brown, 25, since June 2024, uncovering that she “engaged in sexual contact with a student while employed as a teacher.”
Ashley Mitchell, solicitor for the alleged victim, disclosed that at the time Brown was arrested she was teaching preschool.
Mitchell stated, “There was physical contact at the school and outside the school,” noting that her client was 16 years old when the alleged incidents occurred. The young victim has spoken out through his legal team.
The alleged victim said: “I am relieved that these two women have been arrested and the crimes are being fully investigated. These women took advantage of their positions as my teachers. My school did not protect me as a child. I see that now, and I hope that these arrests will protect our community and children in it.”
Both women are currently held at the Greene County Sheriff’s Office Jail, with investigations into both cases still underway. Brown and Mauldin aren’t the only educators facing charges for inappropriate conduct with students.
This comes after married teacher Christina Formella, who was accused of having a ‘sexual encounter’ with a teenage student, told cops that she’s innocent – and is being targeted because she is “good looking”.
Formella, 30, is accused of sexual abuse of a boy of 15 during a tutoring session before school in December 2023.
Police say the special education teacher was the boy’s football coach at the time and was giving him extra tutoring before class started at Downers Grove South High School in Chicago, US.
The lad’s mum is said to have discovered the alleged sexual encounter when she bought him a new phone and signed into his iCloud account.
