Family pay tribute to ‘variety, loving’ household man, 32, who died after ‘street rage’ roundabout battle as suspect is charged with homicide
The family of ‘loving’ and ‘kind’ man who died following an incident in Oldham have paid tribute after police charged a suspect.
Officers were called to reports of a fight between two motorists close to the Elk Mill roundabout on Broadway in Chadderton, Greater Manchester, at about 6.40pm.
Paul Bowles, died following an alleged altercation on Wednesday night and a man has since been charged with Mr Bowles’ murder.
Andrew Robson, 32, was due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (March 29).

Mr Bowles loved ones have now issued a statement, paying tribute to the ‘intelligent’ and ‘quick-witted’ man, who had a ‘brilliant mind and generous heart’.
GMP said: ‘We are now able to name the victim who lost his life during an incident in Chadderton earlier this week as 50-year-old Paul Bowles.
‘His family have described him as a kind, loving, family man and true gentleman who always put others before himself. He was intelligent and quick-witted, had a brilliant mind and generous heart. Paul will be missed greatly by all his family and friends.
‘We are continuing to support the family, who have asked for privacy at this difficult time.’
Mr Robson, of Fold Green, Chadderton, was due to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today.
