The Liefering forward has been hailed as the next Erling Haaland – and is being tipped to have a massive future at the highest level.

Adejenughure has been a prolific scorer through the Austrian youth levels and impressed during the U17 European Championships.

Austria boss Ralf Rangnick invited Adejenughure to train with some of his senior players, as well as the best young talent in the country.

United are keen to land a new striker this summer, although Adejenughure is regarded as one for the future.

But United bosses know he could be bought for a low fee, yet still lead to them unearthing the next big thing.

However, the Red Devils will likely face competition for his signature, with it said that AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in signing the teenager.

Adejenughure currently features for Liefering – the partner club of Red Bull Salzburg – where his spell has allowed him to play regular second-tier football in Austria.

Under INEOS, United have moved to an approach of signing promising young talent for small fees, including the signings of Chido Obi Martin and Ayden Heaven from Arsenal as well as the arrival of Mali midfielder Sekou Kone in the summer.
