Three killed together with kids in home blaze as neighbour tried to enter ‘inferno’
A house fire in Rushton, Northamptonshire, has ended in tragedy and resulted in the deaths of three people, including children according to local reports.
Neighbours described the blaze as an “inferno”, which broke out at around 10.30pm last night (March 27). Police and fire services attempted to break into the house after the incident, but unfortunately were unable to prevent fatalities, Northants Telegraph reports.
A neighbour said: “It’s absolutely shocking. My lad said it was on fire. There was a man who had tried to get in who was outside. It was just an inferno. There were ambulance, police and fire. I don’t know the people who live there but all we can do is hope and pray. It’s just tragic. It’s just horrible. The whole village is in shock.”
