Gym-going Gen Z pushes Fabletics in direction of $1bn

Fabletics is aiming to become a $1billion brand and open UK shops – thanks to sober Gen Z.

The California-based retailer, which sells fitness clothing, is looking to cash in as its young customers are more interested in exercising than going out.

‘Gen Z is always defining that mental and physical health is pretty important,’ said Mark Ralea, the group’s general manager in Europe.

His remarks echo those of Gym Group boss Will Orr, who said youngsters are ‘more interested in their health’ than drinking.
