For many fans of adult content creators, Lana Wolf is synonymous with the boom period that also brought us household names like Elle Brooke and Astrid Wett. When the world went into a pandemic-induced meltdown, many people were at home with, well, not much else to do bar surfing the internet.

And for a large portion of the British population, adult content creators on a certain adult site with the initials O and F were suddenly given a level of fame and popularity never seen before.

A key player at that time was Scotland’s own Lana Wolf – normally associated with Rangers Football Club and getting certain body parts out at half time. But Lana was also associated with drunken antics and sometimes drug-fuelled chaos on social media.

And now, speaking out about that time and the help she’s received since, Lana told the Daily Star of the moment when she knew she needed help. While out in Liverpool on a date, she spent her time waiting for the person she was meeting drinking a lot of alcohol – and ended up meeting him having just thrown up on herself…of which she had no idea.

“I remember being on the floor with people being like ‘Isn’t that Lana Wolf? Lana, are you all right?’, and some random person took me back to my hotel and got me into my hotel,” she recalled, in an interview available to watch in full on our YouTube channel.

“I don’t know who, and obviously, that’s a very dangerous situation to be in as anything could have happened to me and the guy that I went on the date with had just left me on the floor.

“He was like, ‘I’m not dealing with this’ – so, he was a d***, but also I was just really, really drunk. and then after…I spent two days on TikTok Live embarrassing myself as well talking about it. “So after that I was like right I need to wind my neck in a bit because I felt like I was going down a slope.”

Lana admits that her alcohol issues never got to the point where “I woke up in the morning and needed to have a beer,” but when she did she she binged and want to to “be alive, cohesive.”

That situation sparked Lana into seeking help and she sought counselling for around a year, which saw her go sober for around three months. She stopped the counselling and stayed sober for six months, and now has her drinking under control.

“I’m not sober any more, but I don’t drink during the week, and if I go to events, I know I need to show a good version of myself. It has taught me that if I ever struggle in the future, I know I can get some help and the help really does work.

“It took me about a year to notice the help that this counselling gave me, and there was a lot of times where I was trying to go sober, but when I was sober I realised it worked.

“If anyone is out there that needs help, you can get it for free – and there wasn’t really a waiting list.”

And on how she looks back on that moment now, she said that while it’s “not nice to look at it now,” she tries not to regret things otherwise “you just live constantly with regret and guilt.”

She added: “I think that things have happened in my life and I’ve learned from them and it’s made me who I am now and it’s made me a lot wiser. I now mentor other girls, so I’m now a manager and I’ve got my agency (Wolf Manor)

“All the mistakes that I’ve made now, I can just relay that information onto my girls so hopefully they don’t make the same mistakes that I did.”
