Bettina Anderson, Donald Trump Jr.’s Girlfriend, Jumps To His Defense On Social Media

Donald Trump Jr.’s girlfriend is standing by her man after scathing words about him in New York Magazine.

Bettina Anderson, a socialite who reportedly began dating the political scion last year, took issue with this passage in the March 26 article:

“Palm Beach society is a little surprised at Anderson, since Junior ‘is the most despised member of the family; he’s an asshole, a spoiled heir,’ according to one insider. But everyone understands why a smart girl might hook up with a president’s son.”

“That’s my guy!” Anderson wrote sarcastically in her Instagram Story, as reported by the Daily Mail. A graphic of a woman swooning is above the critical quotation. Anderson also scoffed at how the the source was characterized, writing “DEFINITELY an ‘insider’” with a laughing emoji.

In another post she wrote, “Rumors are started by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots,” according to the New York Post. She also gushed over her “Triggered With Don Jr.” podcasting beau, calling him the “finest, loveliest, tenderest, and most beautiful and brilliant person.”

Trump, who at age 47 is the oldest of the president’s five children, jumped to his own defense as well.

“Don’t get me wrong, I can totally be an asshole when I need to be … if you’re an adversarial to my friends, my family, my country, MAGA, etc.,” he wrote on an Insta Story, per the Daily Beast. “But I think you’d be hard pressed to find a regular person who actually knows me who thinks that.”

Trump and Anderson have been linked since last year, People reported. He and ex-fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle reportedly grew apart, and the magazine confirmed their breakup in December.
