Chilling gang struggle footage reveals masked males firebombing UK properties in struggle cry on ‘vermin’
The video footage shows firebombs being thrown through windows and features a creepy voice over, and is believed to have been released as a chilling warning to rival gangs
Chilling new footage has emerged out of Edinburgh’s escalating gang war, showing masked men torching homes with firebombs in what seems to be a brazen declaration of turf war.
The thugs targeted properties in Niddrie, Edinburgh, in what was the second attack on the street in just weeks. The videos feature hooded figures covering porches with fuel and chucking flaming projectiles through several windows before escaping into the night.
The violence has even spread beyond the capital, with attacks also reported in Glasgow.
The firebombings seem be linked to disturbing new gang campaign, complete with a cryptic message and threatening insignia. The video of the attack, shared with Edinburgh Live , also includes a chilling message addressed to Mark Richardson, a convicted drug boss, and those allegedly linked to the infamous Daniels crime family.
In an eerie voiceover, the masked gang declares:
“We are urging everyone in Scotland on the streets and those incarcerated to join us in the fight against Mark Richardson and the Daniels family. These rats have been thieving for a long time. It’s time for people to stand together as one and remove this vermin from our streets. Tamo Junto.”
“Tamo Junto” is a Brazilian Portuguese phrase meaning “we’re in this together”.
The message ends with a violent insignia, a fang-toothed skull painted with the Scottish Saltire, set against a pair of crossed guns, and stamped with “TMJ 2025”, which is believed to be the gang’s name or motto.
A police spokesperson said:
“We believe this was a targeted attack, but the consequences could have been far more serious. Our enquiries suggest links between groups actively targeting each other, and we understand this is deeply concerning for the local community.”
The violence marks a shocking escalation in gang tensions, with insiders warning that a “cartel-style” group is now making moves across Scotland.
One source told Edinburgh Live :
“This new group is like the Scottish mafia. Most people who sell drugs keep their heads down—this is different. These guys are organised, ruthless, and they’re sending a message with these videos. They’re acting like a cartel.”
Police are continuing their investigation, with no arrests confirmed yet.
