In the club’s latest report, it says further investors will be considered in return for a shareholding.

It says: “Further partners would be considered, if they can add value and assist in the delivery of our objectives.”

Ryan, 48, is best known for high grossing films including Just Friends, The Proposal and the X Men and Deadpool series. His pal Rob, 47, is an actor, screenwriter and producer.

The pair have been spotted at dozens of Wrexham matches along with their wives Kaitlin Olson, 49, and Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, 37.

Rob and Ryan released a docuseries – Welcome to Wrexham – in 2022 detailing their takeover.

The League One club has boomed in popularity since the acting duo officially took the reins in February 2021.

Footballing success has also followed, with the team securing two promotions. They are also likely to win entry to the Championship next month.

The actors have already helped raise money for the once-struggling club by selling a minority stake to medical company owners the Allyn family, who are based in New York.

They have also seen the club’s revenue boom.

Four years ago, before the Hollywood takeover, Wrexham’s non-league revenue was recorded at £1.148m. It stood at £26.7m for the season in which they won promotion from League Two.

There were even rumours that Ryan and Blake were so dedicated to the cause they had bought a house in nearby Marford so they had somewhere to stay during trips.

Ryan later shot the story down, saying: “Look, we love it, but to move our entire families over there, that would be a real act of superior black belt manipulation on my part.

“I can pull off a few things, but I don’t think I could pull that off.”

But he added: “Both my wife and I love coming over though. We also love going to California, but we don’t live there, so you know, yeah, maybe one day – who knows?”
