Soviet troopers ‘turned to stone’ by aliens in bonkers Cold War UFO conflict, CIA paperwork reveal
Newly declassified intelligence files explain a Cold War incident involving unexplained phenoma, with humaoids and UFOs, that allegedly turned cold war soldiers to stone
A newly declassified CIA report has uncovered a chilling Cold War-era incident in which Soviet soldiers were allegedly turned to stone by extraterrestrial beings.
The top secret 250-page KGB dossier was obtained by the CIA after the Soviet Union’s collapse in 1991. Deep in Cold War paranoia, the bizarre encounter happened during a military training exercise in Ukraine.
According to the report, a Soviet platoon fired a surface-to-air missile at a low-flying UFO shaped like a saucer. The missile struck the craft dead on, causing it to crash. Five small humanoid beings with large heads and black eyes emerged from the wreckage.
Eyewitnesses from the report said: “In a few seconds, the spheres grew much bigger and exploded by flaring up with an extremely bright light. At that very instant, 23 soldiers who had watched the phenomenon turned into… stone poles.”
The petrified KGB soldiers reportedly transported the remains and UFO debris to a top-secret site near Moscow.
Soviet scientists allegedly found that the explosion altered the soldiers’ cells into a limestone-like substance.
The CIA document concluded that if true, the event illuminates the aliens’ superior defensive capabilities and illustrates how dangerous it is to approach UFOs.
This revelation adds to the growing body of evidence suggesting that extraterrestrial encounters may have occurred during the Cold War.
While the authenticity of the KGB report remains unverified, the details presented are unsettling.
This comes as Military personnel think UFOs are emerging from an underwater base off California, a top UFO expert has claimed. Jeremy Corbell, who probes unidentified craft sightings, spoke out after a newly-released video captured by USS Jackson showed Tic Tac-shaped craft emerging from the sea to buzz the combat ship.
The footage showed “self-luminous, wingless, tailless ” UFOs rising from the Pacific Ocean. Similar mystery craft sightings were captured on film in 2004 and 2019. Corbell said: “It’s become a working theory among people close to this that there’s an underwater base or installation off the California coast.”
Witnesses reported the objects performed an instantaneous, synchronised manoeuvre — “shot off all at once” as the navy veteran described — suggesting coordination or communication between them.
Corbell insisted the new footage was far from an isolated event and instead fitted a broader pattern of repeated sightings of intelligently-controlled craft which may originate from beneath the waves that defy known aerodynamics appearing regularly in the same offshore military training zone.
He said if the tech was human whoever had mastered it could rule the world.
