WWE Backlash 2025 leads to full as John Cena and Becky Lynch battle for belts

John Cena retained his WWE Undisputed championship with a messy victory over Randy Orton.
The legends swapped near-falls and finishers, but Cena came out on to leave St Louis with the belt.
It topped off a night of shocks that saw Lyra Valkyria beat her one-time mentor Becky Lynch to retain her women’s Intercontinental title.
Earlier, Jacob Fatu had retained the United States championship by beating LA Knight, Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre in a fatal four way.
Free agent Jeff Cobb had a shock run-in to help Fatu retain.
Elsewhere, Dominik Mysterio beat Penta in a men’s Intercontinental championship match after interference from El Grande Americano.
And Gunther beat Raw commentator Pat McAfee, though the broadcaster gave a good account of himself in a brutal match that saw Michael Cole try to help his colleague.
