Trump will get second ‘present’ as cell McDonald’s arrange by Saudi Arabi forward of go to
Donald Trump loves burgers so much he was seen posing with McDonald’s meals onboard his own private jet and has been known to order $200 worth of beef patties for flights
Hamburger-loving US President Donald Trump appeared to have been given a second ‘gift’ during his visit to the Middle East — with a Mobile McDonald’s restaurant waiting for him.
The Orange Manbaby touched down in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at a VIP-packed lunch where they signed a number of agreements.
And Trump — who was this week said to be in line to receive a £302million jet by Qatari royals— was seemingly treated to his favourite food by his Saudi hosts as a custom mobile McDonald’s was spotted in Riyadh ahead of the President’s visit.
Trump, who served drive-thru customers at a McDonald’s for a photo shoot during his election campaign, has long been a fan of the fast food chain.
In 2002, he appeared in an ad for the McDonald’s dollar-menu and once ordered 300 Big Macs to the White House during a government shut down in 2019.
The same year, he had the White House cater McDonald’s to welcome the 2018 college football national champion Clemson Tigers for a celebratory meal.
And he once even boasted that McDonald’s French fries are the secret to his trademark head of hair.
According the McDonald’s website, the Riyadh franchise sells the usual burgers such as the Big Mac and Quarter Pounder.
But it also offers regional variations, such as a Mini Kofta, Mini Arabia and a McArabia Kofta, which are served in pitta bread.
Biographer Michael Wolff said Trump loved the Golden Arches so much because “had a long-time fear of being poisoned” and he could guarantee their food “was safely premade.”
Trump himself told CNN in 2016: “I’m a very clean person. I like cleanliness, and I think you’re better off going there than maybe someplace that you have no idea where the food’s coming from. It’s a certain standard. One bad hamburger, you can destroy McDonald’s.”
When asked to name his own favourite fast food by a reporter, Trump once said that he liked them all, adding: “If it’s American, I like it. It’s all American stuff.”
Last year, he ordered $200 worth of burgers for his flight back to Florida after attending the funeral of a murdered New York police officer.
Among the agreements between the US and Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday a $142bn (£107bn) arms deal that includes providing Saudi Arabia with “state-of-the-art warfighting equipment and services from over a dozen US defence firms”.
Trump is due to attend a few more events in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday before heading to nearby Qatar to continue his tour of the Middle East.
