Lando Norris out of Dutch GP whereas chasing lead as smoke comes out of his automotive

Lando Norris is out of the Dutch Grand Prix after suffering an engine failure.
A chaotic Grand Prix at Zandvoort, which saw Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc both crash out earlier in the race in a double Ferrari DNF, had a potentially Championship-defining twist.
With just a few laps remaining, Norris was in the DRS zone of his McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri, chasing victory.
But it all unravelled for the Brit as he was forced to pull over due to a technical problem just moments after he reported a strange smell in the cockpit.
The pain was obvious from Norris and his side of the garage as he climbed out of the car with the Safety Car deployed.
Norris’ heartbreak comes at Piastri’s joy in a potentially Championship-defining race as the Australian won the race he led from the very start after qualifying on pole on Saturday.
Piastri will be joined on the podium by Max Verstappen, who finished P2 in his home race, and Racing Bulls sensation Isack Hadjar, as he secured his first podium finish.
