Luke Littler declares shock cut up hours earlier than World Grand Prix Darts bow

Luke Littler has released a statement announcing his major split on the eve of his World Grand Prix Darts campaign opener in Leicester on Tuesday

Luke Littler has split with his manager just hours before his World Grand Prix Darts bow.

‘The Nuke’ took to social media to announce he’s cutting ties with ZXF Management, run by Martin Foulds. Littler has been under the wing of Foulds, the managing director of Prestige Building Supplies Ltd, since 2020 and was guided into the professional ranks by him.

However, the 18-year-old sensation revealed on Monday that he’s parting ways with the management firm, which also represents his darting rival Nathan Aspinall, as he looks to steer his career down a new path.

In a heartfelt post on social media, Littler expressed: “I want to say a massive thank you to @Zxfsports, and especially @MartinFoulds5, for everything they’ve done for me so far in my career.

“We’ve had some amazing times together over the last 5 years and I’ll always be grateful for the advice and support that’s helped me get to this point.

“As my career moves forward and the schedule gets busier, we’ve agreed it’s the right time for me to take the next step with new representation.

“Martin has been brilliant for me and I wish him and everyone at ZXF the very best. Excited for what’s ahead [fist emoji] [target emoji].”

Foulds accompanied Littler during his remarkable breakthrough journey to the 2024 World Darts Championship final at Ally Pally, where Luke Humphries defeated him in the final.

Just a year later, Littler went one step further and became the youngest ever player to lift the Sid Waddell Trophy, defeating Michael van Gerwen in the final and pocketing the £500,000 prize.

Throughout 2024, he amassed an impressive £1million in prize money, with Foulds playing a crucial role in securing lucrative commercial contracts for the young player and providing essential financial advice.
