Joe Biden undergoes recent therapy after aggressive most cancers unfold to bones

Former US President Joe Biden has said he is undergoing new treatment for his aggressive form of prostate cancer.

A spokesperson for the 46th President said he was having radiation therapy and hormone treatment done “as part of a treatment plan”. This treatment is expected to last for five weeks as marks a new phase of his cancer treatment, the spokesperson added. The former President had already been taking a hormone medication pill and the radiation therapy was newly added to his treatment plan.

Biden announced to the public in May that he had been battling an aggressive form of prostate cancer, that had already metastasised to his bones.

Despite this, the President is said to be “doing well”. Biden, who turns 83 next month, left office as the oldest serving President of the US – after questions were raised about his health.
