Keir Starmer accuses Kemi Badenoch of ‘fully dropping the plot’

Keir Starmer accused Kemi Badenoch of “completely losing the plot” at the first Prime Minister’s Questions since the Budget.

The Prime Minister hit out at the Tory leader after she claimed Rachel Reeves would have been fired and investigated by the Financial Conduct Authority if she was a CEO.

Mr Starmer defended Ms Reeves and dismissed Tory claims that she mislead the public over the Budget.

But the PM is facing pressure after less than 24 hours ago a report from the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), warned that tax hikes and reduced spending will act as a “headwind” to the UK economy over the next two years.
