Liz Truss introduces new show after being ousted as PM
Liz Truss is today launching a self-titled YouTube show in a “revolution” against the “deep state”.
In a stark video posted on social media, the disgraced ex-Tory PM, who lasted just 49 days in office, repeated her claims that the “deep state” tried to destroy her.
She whined it was not her fault that the markets went into crisis in 2022, despite her disastrous mini-budget containing billions in unfunded tax cuts triggering the meltdown.
Ms Truss, who lost her seat in last year’s election, vowed to “expose” her critics and tell the “truth” about what is happening across the West. She invited people to tune into The Liz Truss Show every Friday to be involved in “the counter revolution”.

But in a brutal move, YouGov last night re-released polling reminding her that just 4% of the public are very interested in what she has to say about government policy, with 9% fairly interested.
Some 63% are not interested at all, while 19% are not very interested. More than 2,000 adults were polled in October.
Separate YouGov polling, of more than 6,000 adults across in September, also showed that just 2% of the public think it would be a good thing for her to return to frontline politics. Some 60% said it would be a fairly or very bad thing.
Just 5% said it would be a fairly good thing, 17% didn’t think it would be good or bad and 16% didn’t know.
In her promo video posted on X, formerly Twitter, Ms Truss said: “In 2022 I was deposed from the office of Prime Minister of Great Britain. I tried to save our country from the doom loop it is now in.
“We set out a vision for a low tax, high growth economy that would take advantage of the freedoms of Brexit. I was blamed for a market crisis that was not my fault.
“The deep state and their allies in the media and politics tried to destroy me because I challenged their decades-long failure. Now I’m back.
“I will expose the people who brought me down. I will take on the deep state. I will tell the truth about what is happening in our country and across the West. Tune in to The Liz Truss Show every Friday. Tune in to the counter revolution”
The 49-day leader reacted to a report that Keir Starmer’s allies think Mr Burham would be “Labour’s Liz Truss“. The Tory, who lost her seat last year,
