Premier League star ‘speaking to rival’s girlfriend’ and ‘she likes him extra’

A Premier League star has claimed he’s talking to a rival player’s girlfriend and she likes him more during a Channel 4.0 show on their YouTube channel

A Premier League star has claimed he’s talking to a rival player’s girlfriend and she “likes him more”.

Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina was appearing on Channel 4.0’s Savage Kids and Agony Aunties when he sought advice from a panel for his “dilemma”. Aina said: “My dilemma is I’m in a talking stage with another baller’s girl.

The Forest star was then asked who the other footballer played for, but he responded: “Can’t disclose that one.” He later confirmed they were ‘talking’ rather than ‘walking,’ and had been doing so for a few weeks.

Aina also claimed he “knows she likes me back.” However, one of the kids on the panel joked: “Has it crossed your mind that she is a bit of a clout chaser, two footballers?”

The ex-Chelsea ace pondered the question for a few seconds before joking he could “easily” take the other footballer on one-on-one.

The aunties told Aina to “own up to the guy” and “be honest”. While one of the kids said: “Me personally, I think she’s only there for your money. You’re a professional footballer, you’re earning bread, plenty more girls will come.

“She’s on a permanent sin bin off the pitch, red card!” Aina decided that he was going to take the advice of the aunties after a bit of back and forth between the two sides.

Aina has since clarified it was scripted on his Snapchat story: “To everyone that’s wondering. I wanna be clear about something.

“The show that is circulating was entirely scripted and created for entertainment. The storyline does not reflect my life, my relationship, or anyone connected to me.

“It is not rooted in reality in any way. I understand that clips can take on a life of their own, especially online, but I hope people can recognise this for what it is, just some content. I take pride in who I am on and off the pitch.

“And I would never disrespect anyone like that.”

Aina has been out of action since August, when he picked up a hamstring injury.

He is facing a race against time to be fit for the Africa Cup of Nations, where he had been hoping to represent Nigeria in Morocco.
