‘I used to be almost kicked off flight after Turkey bum elevate – Karens stored complaining’
Saffron said she was almost removed from her flight after getting Brazilian butt lift surgery in Turkey, sparking debate online about what she was doing on the plane
Planes are cramped, confined environments – and it can be particularly uncomfortable if you don’t select your seat and end up stuck in the middle of a three-seat row. This becomes even more challenging if you have a curvier figure or are particularly tall.
However, one woman has revealed online that her shapely bottom nearly resulted in her being ejected from her flight. Saffron, who shares content on TikTok under @saffronmariexx, claimed: “I almost got kicked off the aeroplane because of my BBL”. For those unfamiliar with the term, BBL refers to Brazilian bum lift surgery.
Due to health risks, getting a BBL done in the UK proves challenging. The NHS cautions that surgical fat transfer carries serious dangers, stating: “BBL surgery has the highest death rate of all cosmetic procedures. The main concern is that the injected fat can cause a blockage in a blood vessel in the lungs (pulmonary embolism), which can be fatal.”
Therefore, Saffron travelled to Turkey for her BBL procedure and had to fly back to the UK following the operation. She revealed that “for takeoff and landing,” she used her “BBL cushion” while seated.
Nevertheless, once “the seatbelt sign was off,” she was “walking around” and positioning herself with her bottom elevated following her surgery. This behaviour is necessary because patients should avoid sitting on the area as much as possible during recovery.
Saffron was having a conversation with her mate during the overnight flight – and alleges that some passengers were unimpressed as they were attempting to rest.
Despite the backlash, Saffron shrugged it off saying ‘that’s your choice’ and carried on enjoying herself rather than wallowing in “self-pity” over her discomfort.
She retorted: “Me and my friend are allowed to talk, giggle, and laugh. I can walk up and down the aisle as many times as I want. But the way that we kept getting told off by all the Karens on board.”
However, some felt Saffron’s actions were “inconsiderate” towards others and suggested this was why she nearly got “booted off the flight”.
Critics voiced their opinions in the comments section of her social media post, with one detractor stating: “While I agree you don’t have to sleep, it’s bloody rude to be loud and disruptive when people are sleeping”.
Another argued it had “nothing to do with the BBL,” she was just likely “being annoying”.
Meanwhile, one person expressed concern, suggesting she “didn’t need” the surgery in the first place.
They added: “I mean this kindly, you were naturally beautiful before, and you didn’t need this done at all.
“I know everyone makes their own choices, but I just want you to know that you already had a great shape, you really didn’t need this girl.”
