Luke Littler insists there may be ‘no approach’ he’ll ever go into the I’m A Celebrity jungle

Luke Littler says there’s no danger he’d give up bullseyes in favour of Bushtucker trials after his good friend Angry Ginge was crowned King of the Jungle over the weekend

Luke Littler insists there’s “no way” he will follow his mate Angry Ginge into the jungle after the YouTuber’s triumph in reality TV’s carry-on round a campfire.

The Nuke was among the first to congratulate Angry Ginge – real name Morgan Burtwistle – when the social media influencer won I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here on Sunday. But darts world champion Littler, who begins his defence of the Professional Darts Corporation title at Alexandra Palace tomorrow night (Thurs), says he won’t subject himself to the horrors of bushtucker trials at any price.

The Warrington wizard, 18, has drawn the line at eating kangaroo anus or crocodile penis for the amusement of sniggering hosts Ant and Dec.

Littler said: “Would I go in the jungle myself? No, I actually wouldn’t.

“At first I said I would for the right money, but I’ve been watching it now, and it’s no. I just couldn’t. No way.

“Being like, what is it, 23 hours away on the flight, away from home, eating that stuff. Nah. Not good. Not good.

“Watching it, I don’t think I could actually do it. No. Especially the first two trials, especially what (rapper) Aitch had to do. I said to (girlfriend) Faith, like, no, I’m not doing it ever. No way. There’s no way.”

Burtwistle, 24, was crowned King of the Jungle after three weeks in the Australian rainforest with Tom Read Wilson runner-up and Eastenders actress Shona McGarty third.

In his final bushtucker trial, Angry Ginge survived snakes and critters wrapped around his head in a stunt called Helmet of Hell, while Read Wilson ate camel’s brain and pig’s vagina.

Littler celebrated his mate’s big win in Australia by joining his beloved Manchester United ’s travelling fans at Molineux to watch the club’s 4-1 win over wooden spoonists Wolves.

The world No.1 was picked out by TV cameras next to United head of fan engagement Rick McGagh.

United captain Bruno Fernandes, who scored twice in United’s biggest win of the season, replied to Littler’s tweet about enjoying his “first away day” with a darts emoji.
